Nunky Mark was a much-loved figure in my childhood. His visits were eagerly anticipated and his Peter-Panish personality a delight to a young boy. I also spent large parts of my summer holidays with him in whatever part of the country he was currently living. It was a great pleasure to re-connect with him as an adult and enjoy beer, wine, and fine food and conversations both during my visits to the UK and his and Lesley's visit to Australia. He will be greatly missed.
